Friday 30th August:  Station Tours & Welcome Party

Saturday 31st August: Conference & Bilby Awards Dinner at Lakes Resort, West Lakes.

Our conference included:

Friday evening – Station tours of WOWfm, 5MBS and light dinner & drinks at Vision Australia Radio, with buses provided from the conference venue and back.

Saturday workshops – sessions included Interviewing,  Outside Broadcasts, Working with National Sponsors, Reducing Transmission Costs, the Station Round-up and a National Sector Update from the CBAA, CBF, CMTO & Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.

Bilby Awards dinner: 3 course dinner & awards presentations and the quiz.

127 people from 22 community media organisations came together for 2 days in September for the 38^th SACBA Conference and Bilby Awards, celebrating excellence in community broadcasting.
